After more than 40 years working in consumer and business publishing, redundancy brought my working life to an unexpected crossroads.
Like many people approaching or already in retirement, I found myself thinking about money, purpose, changing technology and what I was going to do next.
Rather than simply accepting that my useful working life was over, I started exploring.
I began learning about digital publishing, online business, Artificial Intelligence and the many opportunities the internet has created for people prepared to learn something new.
I certainly didn't know everything when I started.
And that's rather the point.
